Company History:

Robert Elmes Home Improvement and Repair, LLC is it's own chartered entity and it's chief member/manager is Robert Elmes, a residential home improvement carpenter with over 25 years of hands on experience in most phases of residential construction.

Residential carpenter is a classification well above your average "handyman", for we tackle whole projects from start to finish. We can 'fix' most anything, but we can take it a step further and 'design to build' your next project.

We are a private, locally owned company designed and dedicated to providing to it's clients the highest quality of work that is possible. Willing to go the extra mile, we want the best quality of craftsmanship in every job we do, no matter how minor the job may be.




Member History:


I began my construction career in 1989 in Garland, Texas as an apartment maintenance tech doing renovations and repairing apartment suites at a run down apartment complex called Chateau Arms.

Two years later in 1992, I made the trek to Fayetteville, AR where I started framing spec and custom homes all the while doing handyman work.

Six years later, I became a crew leader for a local framing crew. I did this for the next three years before I ended up owning my own framing company in 2003 of which I ran for the next four years.

Starting in 2007 after the housing boom crashed, I took a supervisor position with Strough Construction of Berryville. Ar., a local commercial and residential construction company performing remodel, renovations, and add-ons before moving on into offering my services to the local community.
 
My knowledge and experience was learned and earned the hard way, one nail at a time.

I am ready, willing, and able to take care of your home improvement and home repair needs.

Overhead:

REHIAR, LLC is a home based company with very little overhead from having to maintain an office space, shop, fleet trucks, employees, and other extra costs that the bigger companies have to charge for, thus passing the savings on to you.

Due to the smaller monetary nature of the services provided, licensing is not required. Overall project costs don't exceed the monetary limits set by the LSLBC-Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors:

"Home improvement contractors are required to register with the Board in order to perform services in an
amount of seventy-five hundred dollars ($7,500) not to exceed seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000)."
