Mr. Barnett had a couple odd jobs and he required some Handyman service.
He had a pair of 8' tall sliding closet doors that kept falling off it's track and a ceiling fan that he wanted installed. (No closet pics, just the ceiling fan).
The sliding doors hung from the ceiling on a track in the closet and they were suppose to slide past each other, but they kept derailing. He already bought a new track kit for the closet and was having trouble
installing it.
I swapped out the old bent up track that screwed to the ceiling in the
closet for the new track and put the new roller wheels on the closet
doors.
Even though the package said the roller kit was for his size
doors, the new fancy adjusters on one door kept bumping into the
other door, knocking it off the track.
What to do, what
to do....
The old rollers were thinner and looked to be in good shape, but had
square wheels on it whereas the new track used round wheels.
I took some sandpaper and rounded out the square wheels on the older
rollers and reattached them back on the doors in their original holes. I
rehung the doors and they worked well.
Later that day, I basically just swapped out a ceiling fan for another
updated version. Standard stuff.
