Serving the Greater New Orleans Area Gresham Laminate Floor
The Greshams are rental agent/owners, that is, they buy houses to rent. On a few of their buys, they had us come in and install laminate flooring, ceramic tile flooring, rebuild a laminate counter top, replace a broken tile wall in their bathroom, and change out a garage door.
To save money, they did all the floor prep themselves by ripping up the old carpet, scraping off the carpet glue, chiseled up the carpet tack strips, and swept the floor. That left us just the task of installing the laminate flooring.
Underneath the floating laminate floor, we installed a silent-walk floor pad/vapor barrier on top of the concrete. With all the base boards replaced, we finally put in the transition and expansion plates.
Laminate flooring is a cost effective way of covering up the floor and changing the looks of any room.
The bathroom floor tile was also installed in the kitchen area.
