What everyone wants to know:
Some handyman jobs are difficult to estimate due to it's nature and giving an actual cost estimate can be difficult, especially if there are several odd jobs to do. For those I prefer to work by the hour. For small jobs, I can estimate how many hours it would take to complete it.

My basic charge per job per day is $25.00/hr. +materials with a two hour minimum. For a highly skilled carpenter, this is more than fair. Others charge more, others may charge less.
Plumber's charge $50.00/hr. to glue two pieces of pipe together. If you are looking for a $10.00/hr laborer, may I direct you to the fellors sitting out in front of Lowe's waiting for you to drive up and hire them. Good luck.
Time is rounded up if within the last 15 minutes or is then pro-rated.
Time begins upon job acquisition and continues through to job completion, that is, when I walk out the door with everything put away and back in order.
Rest assured, I'm all about the job, doing find quality work, and getting the job done; not about how long I can stretch a job out. For instance, changing out a ceiling fan takes on average 2 hours to complete, if all goes well. Making it a 5-6 hour job is not the way I roll.
When installing new fixtures, it's always best to have the item that you want installed on hand with all the connections, for I don't mind going shopping and getting paid for it.
If you desire the quality of work that I have to offer, please call for I hope to hear from you soon.
