Handyman

Working fo a living
Need someone to install a fixture, hook up a ceiling fan, or change out burned out electrical sockets and switches? Most 'little things' in home maintenance can and do require skill and know how, or life threatening situations can be involved. Falling off an extension ladder or getting an electrical shock aren't pleasant things to experience. We don't want that!

Changing out door locks and fixing hinges don't have any danger involved, but yet it takes the skill and know how of a Handyman to perform these functions.

For those nonstandard procedures and processes that you're not able to take care of or have any time to do, I offer a simple Handyman service to take care of the little odd jobs around your home or building.

I'm able to help you in the taking care of the "little things" in your home or building like changing light switches to appliance installs to adjusting closet rollers, I can help get it done.

So compile a list, check it twice, and give me a call- where one call can, and does it all!

What everyone wants to know:

Some handyman jobs are difficult to estimate due to it's nature and giving an actual cost estimate can be difficult, especially if there are several odd jobs to do. For those I prefer to work by the hour. For small jobs, I can estimate how many hours it would take to complete it.

Ceiling fanMy basic charge per job per day is $25.00/hr. +materials with a two hour minimum. For a highly skilled carpenter, this is more than fair. Others charge more, others may charge less.

Plumber's charge $50.00/hr. to glue two pieces of pipe together. If you are looking for a $10.00/hr laborer, may I direct you to the fellors sitting out in front of Lowe's waiting for you to drive up and hire them. Good luck.

Time is rounded up if within the last 15 minutes or is then pro-rated.

Time begins upon job acquisition and continues through to job completion, that is, when I walk out the door with everything put away and back in order.

Rest assured, I'm all about the job, doing find quality work, and getting the job done; not about how long I can stretch a job out. For instance, changing out a ceiling fan takes on average 2 hours to complete, if all goes well. Making it a 5-6 hour job is not the way I roll.

When installing new fixtures, it's always best to have the item that you want installed on hand with all the connections, for I don't mind going shopping and getting paid for it.

If you desire the quality of work that I have to offer, please call for I hope to hear from you soon.
