Poe Attic Insulation

Ms. Poe didn't have any insulation in her attic, and she needed to get it insulated before the next winter's season because of her ailing health. She was also allergic to most man made materials, especially to the chemical toxins found in most manufactured products. 
















I installed R-30 batts from Ultra Touch Recylcled Natural Cotton Batt
Insulation from Bonded Logic (clicking this link will take you to their website for specs and description). This material is considered a 'green' building material product because it is of recycled cotton denim. 

I can order and install this product for you. After a material deposit is received, the order is placed and shipped from their distributors within the next 72 hours.













As per guidelines to installing a hypo-allergenic product for the allergy sensitive person, I vacuumed the entire attic space before installing the insulation. The final step that Ms. Poe chose to for go was a vapor barrier of Tyvek, a Dupont product, that was supposed to be fastened over the insulating material.
