Prof. Kehoe had an age old front porch that was falling apart and rotting away.
The floor decking was untreated tongue and groove slats, much like an interior floor.
I stripped the decking off and found floor joists just sitting there unfastened.

All the floor joists were cut out and new joists added.

I hung aluminum flashing on the lower portion of the house that was unprotected from the weather.

He decided that he wanted treated 2"x4"'s for the floor top decking.

Prof. Kehoe decided on a deck style handrail with square cut bannisters.

The hand rail was tied into existing posts that was cemented into the stone stairs.

Three months later after the treated lumber dried, I filled all the nail holes.

A quick sand job on the holes.

The porch was painted to the homeowner's liking.
