To whom it may concern:
Greetings. My name is Robert Elmes and I have been in the residential construction field for the
past twenty years. I've have also done some commercial work as an employee.
After a few years of apartment maintenance, I moved to Northwest Arkansas from Garland, TX.
where I worked as a framer carpenter for several years before I worked my way up to lead
carpenter. Eventually I started my own framing crew and proceeded from there.
Right as the bottom fell out of the house building industry there a couple of years ago, I met
Dennis Vincinguerra of D-VAL Construction. I started to work for him as a framing supervisor and
we got to build quite a few homes together under his name, including his personal mansion.
After several years of subbing and upon the request of Marty Strough of Strough Construction, I
moved on to Eureka Springs to take residence and act as supervisor for his company.
After getting married, I then left Eureka Springs to Rogers, AR and started a little home
improvement company wherein I was owner and sole operator. I learned quite a bit about
networking, book keeping and web design. A family situation then caused us to move here to
New Orleans.
This is a partial list of the things that I have done as a carpenter:
1. Framing (I can put a rafter roof on anything).
2. Roofing and repairs.
3. Soffitt and fascia: metal and wood
4. All types of siding, sheet, lap, vinyl, etc.
5. Set and replace windows and doors.
6. Painting and stain (clean edges).
7. Laminate counter tops.
8. Set cabinets.
